The Enormous Pumpkin

Riley planted one pumpkin seed in the spring. All summer, Riley watered it and pulled the weeds around it. By fall, the pumpkin was enormous. It was so big that Riley could not lift it. Grandpa had to bring a wagon to carry it. At the fair, people gathered around to see it. The judge was astonished. She said she had never seen such a giant pumpkin. Riley won a blue ribbon. On the way home, Riley was so drowsy that they fell asleep in the wagon next to the pumpkin.
